Judith Kay (Munroe) Hood, 67, of 249 Sherry Street, Rutherfordton, NC died Friday, July 29, 2011 at Willow Ridge Living and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Richard Leon Hood, and the daughter of the late Everett and Beatrice Munroe.

She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Busboom Tiensvold of Rutherfordton and Robyn Bower Reed of Alliance, NE; one son, Steve Busboom of Huntsville, AL; one stepson Chuck Hood of Gilette, WY; two brothers, Duane Munroe of Grand Junction, CO and Dwight Munroe of Torrington, WY; one sister Jeanette Munroe Johnson of Torrington, WY; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 7 PM Sunday, July 31 at Word of Faith Fellowship with Sam and Jane Whaley officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
