Dear Family, I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Mr. Robertson's passing. I had the privilege of being in his history class at Harris Elementary. I only wish I had the love of history back then that I have now. Perhaps, he planted a seed many years ago in my heart that stayed with me all these years. I eventually majored in History as well as Education. I know he would have been shocked,hahaha, yet proud. I would have loved to have shared with him (as an adult) the impact his character and integrity had on so many of us at Harris. Sweet memories of such a wonderful teacher. Mr. Rob (as we at Harris called him) was an awesome teacher. He cracked us up in class and was just a fun dude, to be honest. I'll never forget his all-over-one-wall NCAA tournament bracket and rolling in the TV so we could watch at tourney time. Prayers to the family during this difficult time--God be with y'all.

Mr. Rob was one of my favorite all time teachers. He had a great sense of humor and was a one of a kind that you dont forget. I never heard of any students not liking him. He will be missed. Thanks for all the fun times at Harris. Prayers for the family

I am at a loss for words. Hearing about the passing of Mr. Robertson breaks my heart. I have a lot of fond memories of him when he was my History & Homeroom Teacher at Harris Elementary School.He was such a great teacher and quite the cut-up , not to mention his genuine concern for all of his students throughout his teaching career. My sincerest sympathy to his Family & many friends. He will be greatly missed & forever remain in the memories of ALL who had the privilege of being a part of his life, whether it be former students or friends. i wish the family of mr rob my blessings during this time. well rob is at it with mr tate again. but hes cutting up with mr toney and mrs tate is trying to dill with both of them. mr rob was a great teacher who loved teaching great with kids and a smile everyday he loved old rock and roll also he like and loved the 7 th and 8 th grade pod at harris he would pick on teachers. he was a man of wisdom kindness and love. ill miss him at the trade lots looking for older music prayers to all once again we lost a great teacher jimmy tater tater love you mr rob

Mr.Rob was my teacher back at Harris school. He had this personalty like no other. Best way I can describe him is like the TV show- House. Never had another teacher like him. He will be greatly missed. Rip Mr.Rob. Now your rocking it out with all your favorite musical greats.

Robbie was a person who could make you laugh even when you didn't feel like laughing. It was a pleasure to work with him at Harris School. There was never a boring day! He will be missed but he has left behind wonderful memories for all of those who knew him.
