Jessica and family I first learned to love Jan as one of my GA’s. We studied missionaries, worked on Forward Steps and had fun. I have been privileged these last few years to be in Sunday School class with her. It was a joy to see the mature Christian young she was. She loved her Lord and leaned on Him and at times let Him carry her through this journey. She is now free of cancer and with her Lord. May God hold you in His loving arms and give you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Lucille Moore

i was saddened to hear about Jan. I knew her through the Guardian Ad Litem program. She loved kids and animals. I know she will be missed so much and I'll pray for her friends and family in this time of sorrow.

I have known Jan for many years, but hadn't seen her for a while in person. She used to walk with some of us years ago and she was in Community Bible Study with me, and she and I socialized over the years for meals and at our pool. She was a wonderful person who loved the Lord and her Mom and daughter, Jessica, and all her relatives and friends. She worked hard at being as healthy as she possibly could be over the years. I can hardly believe she's gone, but rejoice to think her trials of this world are behind her now. Sending sincere condolences to Jessica and all who loved Jan. Mike and I will miss her.

Prayers for Jan's family. I knew Jan from being members of Spencer Baptist Church. We were at RS Central together but she was a year ahead of me. We were in the same Sunday school class. She was a kind and lovely person. She was a part of the Gathering that planned class reunions for Central and I worked with her. She will be missed.

I was saddened this morning to learn of Jan's passing. She was a great friend to me during my years in Forest City. Jan demonstrated kindness and Christ-Like love to all of those around her. I loved to hear her stories of growing up in Rutherford County and of her adventures in California. Thank you, Jan, for your friendship and for all the laughter we shared. I am so sad that Jan has passed. We were in Garden Club activities together and would go out for coffee and music concerts. We shared a love for good Indian and Mediterranean food. Thankful that I was able to visit with Jan at Hospice House. Lifting prayers for the entire family.
